Comment on the similarity between the wing of a cockroach and the wing of a bird. What do you infer from the above, with reference to evolution?

Wings of a cockroach and bird have the same functions, i.e., flying. However, they differ in their structure. Thus, they are analogous organs. The wings of bird and cockroach are analogs of each other that do not share a common ancestor and hence, indicate convergent evolution.
