(a) Maintaining the neighbourhood clean, i.e., removal of garbage and storing it in covered place till it is disposed off
(b) Filling up of the potholes and ditches, where water stagnates and creates a breeding place for mosquitoes
(c) Timely spray of chemicals in the surroundings to kill mosquitoes
(c) Provision of safe drinking water
(d) Arrangement of social programmes to educate people about prevention of diseases.
