Solution:

Velocity of water when it comes out of the hole is given by V=√2gh. From the question the value of h' is =10√2sin30 =9; h' is the new height above dashed line. Now velocity comes out to be 6√5. Maximum height attained by a projectile is v²-u²=2gs [v=0] s=9 m. But 1 m was already achieved by it inside the pipe so max. height is 9+1=10 m
