Luteinising hormone
FSH
Human chorionic gonadotropic hormone
Progesterone
Progesterone is secreted by developing follicles in the ovary even prior to fertilization and hence, its presence in urine does not mark the pregnancy. The developing placenta secretes human chorionic gonadotropin (hCG) to maintain the corpus luteum for pregnancy. Higher progesterone and estrogen levels serve to inhibit the secretion of gonadotropins (FSH and LH) by a feedback mechanism to inhibit the menstrual cycle. Therefore, the presence of hCG in urine marks the onset of pregnancy. So, the correct option is Human chorionic gonadotropic hormone.
