Classification is the method to arrange the organisms into different groups on the basis of their similarities and differences. Evolution is the process in which variation is introduced into the genetic constitution. The properties or the features of any organism are controlled by the genetic material. So, the classification and evolution are interlinked because the evolution will result in the development of new properties and the classification will change accordingly.
