Explain briefly any two rights which Sumit could have exercised had he fulfilled his responsibility identified in part (a).

Consumer rights should be informed and known to the customer. Sumit could have exercised the following rights:
(1) Rights to information : The customer should be informed about all the terms and conditions that are held by the company at the time of sale, so that the customer doesn't void any conditions without its knowledge.
(2) Right to seek Redressal: The consumer has the right to seek redressal or refund or repairing of the product which is faulty or does not fulfill the expectations of the customer.
