Modal class is 30-40
Lower boundary of modal class is l=30
Height of each class is h=10
modal frequency is fm=16
Frequency of class preceding to Modal class is f1=10
Frequency of class succeeding to Modal class is f2=12
Mode=l+h(fm-f1/2fm-f1-f2)=30+10×16-10/2×16-10-12=30+6=36
