If CM lies vertically below A ⇒ as per choose axis in x coordinate is equal to
l/2
Xcm = (m1x1 + m2x2)/(m1 + m2)
l/2 = (λl1)[l1/4] + (λl2)[l2/2]/λ(l1 + l2)
l2/4 + l1l2/2 = l2/4 + l2²/2
l²/4 + l1l2/2 - l2²/2 = 0
l1l2 + 2l1l2 - 2l2² = 0
3l1l2 - 2l2² = 0
l1 = (2/3)l2
Then l2/l1 = 3/2 = 1.5
