Acquired trait is a skill that an organism develops during the life time. These traits cannot be passed on to the next generation. Example: driving a car, speaking a particular language etc. Inherited traits are hereditary or genetic traits. These traits are passed from one generation to next. Example: color of the skin or hair, height etc.
