Polymer used in bullet proof glass is: lexan, nomex, PMMA, kevlar

Lexan is a kind of polycarbonate i.e. thermosetting polymers containing carbonate groups. They are strong, tough materials, and are optically transparent. This is why a laminated polycarbonate (Lexan) is used to make bulletproof glass.
