Solution:

√5 = √(4+1)
Here 4 and 1 both are perfect squares.
Number as √4 = 2 and √1 = 1
So draw a right-angle triangle with sides 2 and 1. And according to the Pythagoras theorem, the hypotenuse will be √(2² + 1²) = √5
