Given: a = 1m, b = 1.2m, h = 0.8m
Area of trapezium = 1/2 × Sum of Parallel Sides × Distance between parallel sides
= 1/2 × (a + b) × h
= 1/2 × (1 + 1.2) × 0.8
= 1/2 × 2.2 × 0.8
= 1.1 × 0.8
= 0.88 sq. metres
