What are the advantages and disadvantages of using a solar cooker?

Solar energy is used in the solar cookers to cook food. As solar energy is a renewable source of energy and it is available in unlimited amount, the operation cost of solar cooker is very low. But the manufacturing cost of solar cooker is very high and it doesn't work in the absence of sunlight. Places where there is not enough sunlight, as the days are too short or always cloudy, solar cookers cannot be used.
