i) Bakelite
Bakelite is a condensation polymer of phenol and formaldehyde. Thus its monomers are as follow:
C6H5OH (phenol) and HCHO (formaldehyde)
ii) Nylon-6,6
It is the condensation polymer of adipic acid and hexamethylene diamine. Here 6 represents the number of carbon atoms in each monomer. The two monomers of Nylon-6,6 can be given as follow:
HOOC-(CH2)4-COOH (adipic acid) and H2N-(CH2)6-NH2 (hexamethylene diamine)
iii) Polyethene
Polyethene is an addition polymer of ethene.
